Kids Knit Club at Mark Twain Library

"Kids Knit" is an ongoing knitting program for children in third grade and up. Meetings are held twice monthly on Wednesdays from4:00-4:45 pm from late January through March. This is a drop-off program, but parents are welcome to attend (to knit and/or help) if they wish.

Led by Kate Schwartz, basic stitches are taught and project ideas are provided. Beginners are always welcome to join at any time. New stitches & complicated projects can be explored as you gain more experience.

Please bring your own set of knitting needles (size 9, 10 or 11) and a skein of non-fuzzy yarn that works with your size needles. First project could be a bookmark!

To reserve your spot, please register online, visit the front desk, or call the Library at (203) 938-2545
