Backyard Chickens with Bil Mikulewicz
The Discovery Center at Ridgefield is hosting a Back Yard Chickens program on Thursday, February 5th at 7:00 P.M. at The Cannon Grange in Wilton, CT.
Local chicken farmer, Bil Mikulewicz, will lead this program about raising chickens in a back yard setting. Mr. Mikulewicz, a three year veteran in keeping chickens, will walk through all the steps of getting and establishing a home for these fascinating and productive (sometimes comical) feathered creatures.
Mr. Mikulewicz will relate bits of humor, history, personal photos, and draw on his experience to relate which matters are really important, and perhaps even encourage new chicken farmers to get started on a journey with these interesting and unique birds.
