Miller iwill discuss her latest novel, “The Arsonist,” with Steinberg. The conversation begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Westport Library’s McManus Room. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the free and open to the public program.
Miller's novel follows a family and a community in a small New England town. Both are tested when an arsonist begins setting fire to the homes of summer residents.
Publishers Weekly says of the book, “A provocative novel about the boundaries of relationships and the tenuous alliance between locals and summer residents when a crisis is at hand ... Miller, a pro at explicating family relationships as well as the fragile underpinnings of mature romance, brilliantly explores how her characters define what ‘home’ means to them and the lengths they will go to protect it.”
