Following the massive success of the very first Connecticut Blind Beer Awards, where 12 amazing Connecticut breweries sampled their best IPAs completely blind, Ken Tuccio’s Welcome To Connecticut Podcast and The Blind Rhino are teaming up for a second event!
The second Connecticut Blind Beer Awards goes down Saturday, July 23rd at 1pm at The Blind Rhino in Norwalk! The beer style for this event is SUMMER SEASONALS!
The Connecticut Blind Beer Awards are a unique beer-experience, where hype and bias are eliminated and beer drinkers decide what they like based solely on the liquid. The first event sold out in less than one week and received attention and interest from across the state.
Much like the first event, 12 of Connecticut’s finest breweries have been invited to bring their best Summer Seasonal to the Connecticut Blind Beer Awards. The beer from each brewery will be poured completely blind. Neither the names of the breweries, nor information about the specific beer being poured, will be divulged.
Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to vote for the beers they enjoyed most, without knowing who brewed what.
Tickets for this event are ONLY $25. That ticket includes entry to the event and samples of all the beer being served. The tickets also include an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, starting at 4pm!
