New Adult Improv Workshop at Theater Barn Starts 8/23

The Theater Barn is very happy to announce a new Improv class, taught by the coach and Director of the Role in the Hay Players, Rick Hodder. Beginning August 23rd, this adult workshop (16 and older) will meet Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:30and run for 6 weeks through October 4th (no class September 6th) and will culminate with a performance for friends and family.

Rick Hodder has trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade and Gotham City Improv in NYC, and coached and directed the Role in the Hay Players for over 10 years. If you like the show Whose Line is it Anyway then this popular Improv workshop is right up your alley.  Improv helps you learn how to think on your feet, fosters teamwork, and helps with public speaking and assertiveness. But most of all, it’s fun!

The classes will be held at the Ridgefield Theater Barn, 37 Halpin Lane. All experience levels are welcome and early registration is strongly recommended, as seating is limited to 14 students. The workshop is $260 for donors, $280 for non-donors. Register online at ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org.
