You’ll have the time of your life at The Ridgefield Playhouse with the 30th Anniversary screening of Dirty Dancing

You’ll have the time of your life at the 30th Anniversary screening of Dirty Dancing at The Ridgefield Playhouse! Fathom Events and Lionsgate are partnering to present the 30th Anniversary showing of Dirty Dancing on Sunday, January 29 at 7 p.m. as part of the Craig’s Fine Jewelry Live in HD Series.

The 1987 romantic drama tells the tale of Frances “Baby” Houseman and her summer vacation in 1963’s Catskill Mountains family resort. Initially a ‘good girl’, Baby soon discovers dancing instructor Johnny Castle. Finding herself and love at the same time, Dirty Dancing proved to be an American classic. Come in your best Catskills resort attire! Watermelon margaritas will be available at the bar. Fans can take photos at the selfie station and ticket holders are entered to win the Dirty Dancing “standee.” You can also bid on an autographed Patrick Swayze photo the night of the show!

Craig’s Fine Jewelry Live in HD Series is underwritten by Lori and John Berisford, Jeanne Cook, Anita and Nicholas Donofrio, Liz and Steven Goldstone, Sabina and Walter Slavin with Support from The Ridgefield Press and Whistle Stop Bakery.

For tickets ($12.50) call or visit the box office, 203-438-5795 or go online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse, located at 80 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, is a not for profit 501 (c)(3) whose mission is to present a variety of performing arts to the community and the surrounding area that they can enjoy and experience at a varied price point.
