Celebrate Trail Day & Redding's 250th Anniversary on June 3 at Topstone Park

Trail Day June 3 2017

Trail Day is Sat 6/3, 9:30 – 12 noon at Topstone Park. To help celebrate Redding’s Sestercentennial Anniversary –250th, locals are invited to loop the park discussing its creation and enjoy this special place. 

The Redding Conservation Commission explains, "We'll hike Topstone Park to celebrate Redding's Sestercentenial Anniversary (250th,) exploring the park & discuss it's creation from land owned by the renowned photographer, Edward Steichen. A group of activist citizens stepped up to create Redding Open Lands Inc. in 1970 to make this possible. Expect a few steep spots."

Meeting Place: 
Initial parking areas from Topstone Rd at the Saddleback Trail head. (Don't drive all the way back to the Pond area.)
