Book Discussion of Neil Gaiman’s “The Ocean at the End of the Lane” at Byrd’s Books in Bethel on Nov. 20

If you’re not in a book group but would like to be, our local libraries and bookstores often have groups you can join.

Case in point: Byrd’s Books in Bethel hosts a book discussion once a month on Thursdays. They choose paperback books when possible, and if the author is local, they will ask the author to join the discussion.

The group will meet on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 7:30 – 9 p.m. to discuss Neil Gaiman’s “The Ocean at the End of the Lane,” a modern day fantasy about fear, love, magic, and sacrifice revolving around a family at the mercy of dark forces, whose only defense is three women who live at the end of the lane.

Byrd’s Books in Bethel is located at 126 Greenwood Ave. in Bethel. For more information, phone (203) 730-2973, or visit byrdsbooks.com.
