Edible Nutmeg on the Road Announces New Television Series

Edible Nutmeg Magazine, which highlights food and drink from across Connecticut, is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with Pork Belly Productions culminating in a new Television Series - ‘Edible Nutmeg on the Road’.

For the past year Pork Belly Productions has been working tirelessly identifying local farms and purveyors to film short, inspiring online videos and celebrate what Connecticut has to offer. Each segment incorporates interviews, humor and facts with quick, easy recipes. Premiering on Saturday, November 26th, Chef Plum will hit the road each week on Channel WCTX, with brand new footage, episodes and adventures. Check your local listings for air times.

Edible Nutmeg on the Road features where local food comes from, and how it is nurtured. From oysters, bison, and micro-greens, to beer, bread, and bees, spend your Saturday mornings watching Chef Plum and discover some of the best (and lesser known) food producers the Nutmeg state has to offer!

Edible Nutmeg on the Road Television series will feature the following, incredible places: Ambler Farm, Black Hog Brewery, Copp’s Island Oysters, Gilbertie’s, The Hickories, Litchfield Distillery, Mowhawk Bison Farm, New Canaan Nature Center Harvest Festival, Oui Charcuterie Farm, Red Bee Honey, Shearwater Coffee and Wavehill Breads.
