Featured soloists for this Saturday’s “Carols by Candlelight” at St. Stepuhen’s Episcopal Church are Lydia Toperzer, soprano; Susan Boszo, alto, and Thomas Carr, baritone (pictured, left to right). This annual Christmas concert, which takes place at 7 p.m. in the church’s sanctuary at 351 Main St. in Ridgefield, also includes the St. Stephen’s Festival Choir, St. Stephen’s Choristers, soloists, and a 28-piece professional orchestra, directed by Scott Toperzer, St. Stephen’s Minister of Music.
Musical selections will be drawn from Handel’s Messiah, Berlioz’ L'enfance du Christ, the music of Edvard Grieg and Will Todd, plus traditional hymns and carols orchestrated by Kevin Estes.
Doors open at 6:15 for early seating. Donations will be accepted.
