Marilyn Maltas, 70, of Redding

Marilyn Maltas, 70, of Redding, passed away on May 21, 2015; she was the loving wife of Brian Maltas.

Marilyn was born on July 8, 1944 in Danbury, CT; a daughter of Arthur and Frances (Zandri) Strouse. She and her husband were the owners of Frances Cleaners of Ridgefield. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Ridgefield Women’s Golf Club.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Brian. She is also survived by two sons; Scott and his significant other, Danielle, Richard and his wife Molly, by one grandson, Devin and two loving puppies Mindy and Azaria.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by a son, Brian Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:15 am at St. Mary’s Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ridgefield.

There will be no calling hours.
