RVNA Offers Red Cross Babysitting Certification Course

Are you an aspiring babysitter? Would you like to gain confidence and learn important skills necessary for taking care of young children? Join April Rodriquez, RVNA Community Health & Wellness Nurse for this important babysitting course designed for youth ages 11 & older. Topics will include a guide to leadership, how to keep kids safe, feeding and bedtime strategies, First Aid and CPR for infant & child. This 3-part course takes place after school from 3:00pm - 5:30pm on November 29th, 30th and December 1st. The fee is $90. Each participant will earn a Red Cross Babysitter's Training Certificate. To register, please call RVNA at 203-438-5555.

About The Speaker

April Rodriguez, RN received a BA from University of Connecticut and an ADN from Norwalk Community College. Her background includes working in dermatology, general surgery, and long-term care. She is currently Community Health & Wellness RN at RVNA.
