Mark Twain Library Wants Your Feedback: a Message From Director Beth Dominianni

Dear Patrons, Friends and Neighbors of the Mark Twain Library,

For over fifty years, the Annual Mark Twain Library Book Fair has been a signature summer event in Redding.

With an average of 60,000 titles amassed each year, the fair maintains a rich tradition as one of the biggest, the oldest - and the best - in New England This crucial fundraiser is made possible because of the steady stream of quality book donations from people like you. It also requires a steady demand of volunteer hours to sort, price and pack each and every title in preparation for the four days a year when the books will be available for sale. In an effort to potentially increase the revenue we make on these gently used books, the Mark Twain Library is considering expanding efforts to continually sell books throughout the calendar year. We currently offer some children's titles and a few dozen adult selections for sale on an ongoing basis and are considering establishing a larger mini "book store" presence.

We'd like to know what you think. We invite you to take a short 10 question survey, which should take less than 5 minutes to complete. The survey will be open until May 8, 2015. The results of this survey are vital in determining whether a Mark Twain Library Book Store is a reality or not. Your input is most important.

Thank you for helping us by completing the survey. Sincerely, Beth Dominianni, Library Director
