Flower workshops for all ages at Henny Penny Farm this weekend

This weekend Henny Penny Farm in Ridgefield is holding their 'Celebrating Flowers Weekend' beginning with Kids' Drop-In Crafts on Friday January 27 from 4-6pm.

Children can chose from a range of projects from fiber art to printing or mixed media.  Projects start at $10.

Then Saturday January 28 adults get to try their hand at the Japanese art of Kokedama.  This fun, hands-on workshop teaches a simple technique for creating hanging moss gardens to bring some lush green to your house during the winter doldrums.  Students will also learn how to create tablescapes with their new creations and more.

On Sunday, the farm is offering its ever-popular Cutting Flower Garden workshop. Students will learn how to plan, plant, harvest and arrange flowers from a cutting garden.  This 2 hour intensive course gives students the tricks to success here in CT as well as an informative handbook created here at Henny Penny Farm. Pre-registration is required for the kokedama and cut-flower workshops. Sign up here.
