Redding First Selectman Julia Pemberton and Adam Pemberton are welcoming guests to their home for the annual Century Club fundraising party this Sunday, September 21st, from 4-7pm.
"We hope to see old friends and welcome new ones at the Century Club party," said Tina Miller, Chair of the Redding Decmocratic Town Committee.
The party is sponsored by the Redding DTC as a way for the community to meet their Democratic candidates for the upcoming November election, to support their party, and to enjoy themselves in a fun social setting with other Democrats. Invitations for the 2014 Century Club were mailed to registered Democrats earlier in the month.
“At the Century Club, people will enjoy delicious food, great music provided by Garner Lester’s band Catfish, and good company which includes our elected officials and candidates for state office,” said event chair Margi Esten.
“Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will be at the Century Club party, as well as Senator Richard Blumenthal, Congressman Jim Himes, and many more of our state and federal office holders,” she added.
The party will be held at the Pemberton’s home at 159 Umpawaug Road, with plenty of parking available across the street at 164 Umpawaug Road.
