Legal Notice/Warning - Redding Community Center

The Legal Voters in the Town of Redding, Connecticut, and those entitled to vote therein are hereby warned and notified to meet at the Special Town Meeting to be held at the Redding Town Hall, 100 Hill Road, Redding, CT on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:

Upon the recommendation of the Board of Selectmen, to adopt, pursuant to Section 16A-40g of the Connecticut General Statutes, a program known as the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program, to facilitate loan financing for clean energy improvements to commercial properties by utilizing a state or local assessment mechanism to provide security for repayment of loans; and to authorize and direct First Selectman Julia Pemberton to execute and deliver the C-PACE Agreement, for the purposes therein, together with such other documents as she may determine to be necessary and appropriate to evidence, secure and otherwise complete the C-PACE Agreement.

To do any and all things legal and necessary to accomplish the above named purpose and to take any other action that may legally come before the meeting.
