Turn Around, Don't Drown: Warning From Weston Volunteer Fire Dept. Regarding Driving in Storms

In response to all the storms and heavy rain of late, the Weston Volunteer Fire Dept. recently shared the following warning and photo from the US National Weather Service of New York:

"The look of water covering a road can easily be deceiving. Water on a flooded roadway may not look that deep, but in reality, it could be quite deep -- perhaps deep enough to disable your vehicle! If you knew there's a chance your car could be stuck and a rescue would be required, would you still cross the flooded roadway?...

Share this very important message with friends and family. Turn Around; Don't Drown."
