On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center will host its 31st annual Cannonball Gala and honor two of Ridgefield’s most inspiring arts leaders: Daniel C. Levine and Bryan Perri of A.C.T. of Connecticut.
Here are 10 EXCELLENT reasons why you want to attend the Cannonball Gala at KTM&HC on May 3rd:
- You can feel good about spending a fun night out in support of Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center's mission of preservation and education.
- Your paddle raise directly supports our school programs which teach important lessons about American history and democracy. This school year some 2,000 students from 30 different schools, including Ridgefield schools as well as priority school districts, visited our site for a hands-on history program to learn about Colonial times, the American Revolution, and early 20th Century community building.
- You get to party under the stars in the tented walled garden and historic Garden House like the Gilberts some hundred years ago.
- You get to help us honor Dan Levine and Bryan Perri from A.C.T. of CT with the Cannonball Award for their contributions to Ridgefield's arts and culture.
- You get to hear a special musical performance by our honoree Bryan Perri (who just had his Carnegie Hall debut!).
- You get to enjoy a delectable menu catered by the talented Sarah Bouissou from A Table.
- You get to savor a special chocolate treat by Debora Anne's Sweet Shoppe.
- You get to bid on a range of fantastic LIVE AUCTION items ranging from a one-in-a-kind quilt by Harvey Firestein, Mets tickets, catering in your home by A Table, to a vacation in the New Hampshire White Mountains.
- You get to bid on a range of exciting SILENT AUCTION items, including jewelry, beauty products, books, specialty dishware, gourmet food items, and various themed gift baskets.
- You get to meet old friends and make new ones!
The evening includes cocktails, a beautifully prepared dinner by À Table by Sarah + Bernard, and a highlight that’s sure to give guests goosebumps—a special musical performance by honoree Bryan Perri. There will also be a live and silent auction, a paddle raise, and plenty of opportunities to catch up with friends, toast the honorees, and support a beloved local historical nonprofit. Auctioneer David Yaun will keep the energy high and the bids flowing.
The gala is more than a social highlight—it’s Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds support KTM&HC’s ongoing work: preserving history, offering engaging programming, and creating opportunities for people of all ages to connect with the past in meaningful, accessible ways.
