Allison Stockel—A Ridgefield Legacy—Begins New Chapter at GLAZER HALL

The former Executive Director of The Ridgefield Playhouse, Allison Stockel, spent over two decades building the Playhouse into one of the region’s most successful nonprofit performing arts centers. A longtime Ridgefield resident—now living in Norwalk and Florida—she brings her signature passion and leadership to this new chapter as GLAZER HALL prepares to open in late 2025.

Poised to debut for the 2025–2026 season in Palm Beach, Florida, GLAZER HALL will feature a 24,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art performance and event space. Originally designed in 1958 as the Royal Poinciana Playhouse by architect John Volk, the historic site has been reimagined as a world-class venue, while honoring its architectural legacy. The 400-seat theater will include retractable seating, a glass back wall overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, and top-tier sound and lighting.

“I have never been as excited about something as I am about GLAZER HALL. I’m honored that Jill and Avie Glazer have asked me to be a part of this exciting project,” said Stockel. “I’m inspired by their dedication, and I look forward to joining their efforts to revitalize the historic Royal Poinciana Playhouse as a premier destination for the Palm Beach community.”
