HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SERVE ON A COMMITTEE?

RIDGEFIELD, CT, MARCH 28, 2012—Did you know that the Historic District Commission reviews any reconstruction, alteration, razing of buildings and other structures in the historic districts. Our goal is to maintain the historic architectural integrity of the Town by reviewing applications for residing, repair and expansion of homes in the district. In addition, we also govern new construction, fences, sidewalks and other exterior features. We meet monthly at Town Hall. There are currently two positions open, if you are interested in serving with us please contact the Selectman’s Office.

·         Affordable Housing Committee;

·         Architectural Advisory;

·         Annual Town Meeting Committee;

·         Cable TV Advisory Council;

·         Commission on the Disabled;

·         Design Council; 

·         Economic Development Commission;

·         Golf Committee;

·         Graveyard Restoration Committee;

 

  • Insurance & Risk Management Committee;

 

·         Parking Authority;

·         Parks and Recreation;

·         Pension Commission;

·         Ridgefield Arts Council;

·         Ridgefield Prevention Council;

·         Tree Committee;

·         Youth Commission
