3 car MVA
Ridgefield Police are investigating a three car accident on North Salem Road. Two vehicles were stopped behind traffic southbound and a third vehicle stuck one of the cars in the rear causing it to strike the other vehicle in the rear. The operator of one of the vehicles was transported to Danbury Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

DUI
Ridgefield Police observed erratic operation of a vehicle on Rt. 7. The operator failed the standard field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI, failure to drive right, and operating without a license.

Possession of drug paraphernalia
At approximately 7:15pm, a Ridgefield Police officer observed a man from Seymour CT smoking a multi-colored pipe with marijuana in it. At the time of the offense, the individual was standing in the parking lot of The Ridgefield Playhouse, a few feet away from the officer’s unmarked. He was issued an infraction for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
Possession of pot and drug paraphernalia
At approximately 9:50pm, Ridgefield Police a vehicle parked in the parking lot of The Ridgefield Playhouse and the man inside the vehicle was smoking pot. He was issued an infraction for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and then released.

Burglary investigation
The Ridgefield Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred between the hours of 8:30am and 7:30pm at Casagmo. $1500 in cash was taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact The Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.
