Inspired by her courageous cancer stricken niece, Eloise, Ridgefield resident Beth Butler spearheaded the first Ridgefield CureSearch Walk today. Despite the overcast conditions, hundreds of supporters brought sunshine to Main Street and walked to honor children affected by cancer. Each donation brought the world closer to the day when all children will be cancer-free.
A huge congratulations to Beth Butler and everyone who walked in our town's first annual fundraiser. More than $40,000 was raised for this incredibly important and worthy cause.
