Get Ready for "Where the Wild Things Run" this Wednesday morning with Ridgefield Bicycle Company

Join Ridgefield Bicycle Company this Wednesday morning, May 1,  for a Pre-Run of the Woodcock Nature Center's Where the Wild Things Run 5K! The trail run will feature a course preview of the upcoming Woodcock Nature Center 5k Trail run/walk. Participants should meet at 6:30am at the main building at Woodcock Nature Center (next to the lake, 56 Deer Run Road in Wilton, CT).

The run is geared for beginners.

About the Woodcock Nature Center "Where the Wild Things Run":

This Sunday, May 5, come to Woodcock Nature Center for the fifth annual "Where the Wild Things Run" 5K run/walk and 1K Kids Fun Run.

NEW THIS YEAR – the 5K course will have more trail for more fun and adventure. It will be approximately 90% trail with a mix of groomed trails, rugged trails and narrow bridges/boardwalks. The challenging terrain will highlight the diversity and beauty of our property. Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are welcome.

The 1K Kids Fun Run course remains the same as previous years. This is a fun course appropriate for all ages. Parents are welcome to accompany their children.

Registration begins at 7:30 the morning of the race. You may pre-register before May 3rd at www.woodcocknaturecenture.org, fee is $25 for ages 14+ ,$15 for 13 an under or $30 for day of the race.   The kid fun run is $10 and the first 300 people will receive t-shirts!

The kids fun run will start at 8:30 and the 5K run/walk will begin at 9.
