FIRST ANNUAL CONNECTICUT VEGETARIAN AND HEALTHY LIVING FESTIVAL Set for APRIL 28-29, 2012

Hartford, CT January 12, 1012 - Wholesome Creations Cares, a non-profit organization, is hosting the First Annual Connecticut Vegetarian and Healthy Living Festival, an event dedicated to raising awareness of the benefits of living a healthy, cruelty-free vegan lifestyle; benefits to the animals, to our environment and to ourselves.  The festival will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center on April 28-29, 2012.  Entry is FREE WITH THE DONATION OF A VEGAN NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM (canned goods, rice, grains, etc) to be donated to food banks and shelters.

The First Annual Connecticut Vegetarian and Healthy Living Festival is gearing up to be a phenomenal whole body, mind and spirit experience.  We believe that a healthy body is complimented by a healthy environment and spiritual balance.  We can all do something to improve the quality of life for ourselves AND for the innocent animals we share our beautiful planet with.  ‘Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace.’  Albert Schweitzer, French philosopher, physician, and musician (Nobel 1952).

Join us for a day of EXPLORATION and EDUCATION and learn how you can ensure a healthy planet of abundance for now and future generations.

The response we've had from the vegan community is evidence that our event is much needed and relevant.  There’s something for everyone: vegan food tasting, cruelty free personal and beauty product samples, Yoga, Reiki and holistic care practitioners, lectures, cooking and wellness demonstrations ongoing throughout the weekend and special screenings of feature films like VEGUCATED as well as hundreds of raffles, door prizes and other activities at one of the best venues in Connecticut.
