Command Center Stage: An Injury-Prevention Dance Seminar

On Sunday, March 25th at 1 pm in the Ridgefield Physical Therapy Office, Elizabeth Molloy, Doctor of Physical Therapy and dancer of many years, is hosting a FREE Injury Prevention Seminar for Dancers, between the ages 9-18, to educate them on how to evaluate and maintain their own bodies, assess body risks, and learn techniques to prevent injuries and long-term rehabilitation.

Over 75% of dancers will receive an injury in their lifetime that will require some form of rehabilitation. With the proper body maintenance, many common joint and muscle injuries can be avoided. Young dancers need to understand their growing bodies, learn proper training techniques, along with nutrition, hydration and more, to stay in top performing condition and command center stage.
