Final Chowdafest Results are in!

Final Results of the 2014 Chowdafest are IN!

According to Chowdafest founder, Jim Keenan, there was record attendance at this year's event. The best part? There was a record donation to the Connecticut Food Bank - 30,000 plus meals!

Chowdafest highlights:

  • Norwalk is the unofficial "chowda capital of CT" taking 6 of the total 12 awards, winning 2 of the 4 categories and sweeping the Creative Chowder category.
  • Liquid Lunch set a record for having an entry in three categories.
  • The competition continues to expand outside Fairfield County with High Tide Gourmet, Lenny & Joes and Cask Republic among others, making the competition more state-wide.
  • First inductees into the Bowl of Fame - Chef Pietro Scotti and Sweet Potato Clam Chowder from the Ginger Man.
