Mercedes-Benz of Danbury Celebrates 25 Years "FORE" Ann's Place

The Ann Olsen Greater Danbury Golf Classic will take place at Ridgewood Country Club on Monday, September 8

After 25 years of engraved winning team names on the Hawley Cup, it must now be retired, as its sheer weight makes it difficult to add on another tier.  On September 8th, golfers will take to the course at Ridgewood Country Club to compete for the Hawley Cup II - Quarter Century, a shiny new trophy to honor Bud Hawley's dedicated advocacy for this beloved event that benefits the compassionate services at Ann's Place. Golfers will have two different opportunities to win a brand new Mercedes-Benz courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of Danbury. "We will be putting up not only one but two hole-in-one cars," explains Danielle Troiano of Mercedes-Benz of Danbury. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz of Danbury will sponsor a “Million Dollar Shoot Out”. "All golfers will be automatically entered into the drawing and they will pull 3 “winners” prior to play to take a shot at winning one million dollars," explains Troiano.

Golfers are invited to stick around after their 18th hole for dinner and the awards banquet.

The Golf Classic proceeds are a critical part of keeping the professional services of Ann's Place free to all those whose lives have been interrupted by cancer.
