Mercedes-Benz of Danbury sponsors 5th Annual "Drink Pink" Event

The 5th Annual Drink Pink Think Pink will take place from 6 to 8pm at Sarah’s Wine Bar in Ridgefield on Wednesday, October 15.

“We are thrilled that Mercedes-Benz of Danbury will be sponsoring our 5th Annual Drink Pink Think Pink event and appreciate all of the support this local business provides to nonprofits in our community,” said organizer, Kerry Anne Ducey.

Thanks to Mercedes-Benz of Danbury, one lucky winner will enjoy a chauffeured night on the town in a brand new Mercedes-Benz. “We are going to hire a driver for the night and supply a beautiful for the raffle winner,” said Danielle Troiano, Marketing & Communications Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Danbury. The raffle prize also includes dinner for two at Bernard’s and tickets to a Ridgefield Playhouse performance.

“We are also thankful to many local businesses who have donated items for our raffle including nancy O’s, Joy Ride of Ridgefield, Joe Savoia of Personal Training Professionals and Hair Couture of Ridgefield,” said Ducey.

The special evening of friendship and camaraderie will include live music courtesy of Kelly Mittelman, cocktails and nibbles, courtesy of 109 Cheese, and a beautiful anthology of photographs taken by photographer  Kristen Jensen. “Kristen’s photos of breast cancer survivors tell a story of strength, courage and hope,” explained Ducey.

One hundred percent of the proceeds of the evening will be donated to Danbury Hospital Breast Cancer Program and Ann’s Place - two local nonprofit organizations that help cancer victims, survivors and their caregivers.

The Medical Director of Danbury Hospital’s Breast Cancer Program, Dr. Valerie Staradub, will speak to attendees about new technology that is available for breast cancer screening and brand new surgical procedures. “She is happy to answer any questions that people may have,” remarked Ducey.

No advanced reservations are required. There is a $15 cover charge at the door, all of which will be donated to Ann’s Place and Danbury Hospital. “Every pink ticket is good for a pink drink,” said Ducey.
