Hair Couture holds in-store raffle to support Ann's Place & Danbury Hospital

In honor of National Breast Cancer month, Hair Couture Salon, located at 280 Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield, will be hold an in-salon raffle during the month of October to benefit Ann’s Place & Danbury Hospital Breast Cancer Program, local nonprofit organizations that help cancer victims, survivors and their caregivers. “We will offer $100 Hair Couture gift card that the winner can use toward services,” explains salon owner, Tami Williams.

Williams, who was suddenly stricken ill this spring and diagnosed with a brain tumor, knows all too well the importance of comprehensive cancer treatment programs. “I just finished chemo and will begin radiation next week,” explains Williams.

“We’re thankful to Tami and to Hair Couture for supporting Drink Pink. Tami has been through so much - her strength and positive energy are contagious,” said Drink Pink co-host Kerry Anne Ducey.

The 5th Annual Drink Pink Think Pink party for a cause will take place on Wednesday, October 15 from 6 to 8pm at Sarah’s Wine Bar in Ridgefield.

No reservations are necessary. There is a $15 cover charge at the door and attendees will be given one pink ticket, good for a pink beverage.

There will be raffles, live music and nibbles and beautiful photographs of cancer survivors taken by Kristen Jensen.

“We are looking forward to another fun event filled with friendship, laughter & some great prizes - all to benefit two very important organizations, said Ducey.
