Two local businesses team up to support the American Breast Cancer Foundation

The Ridgefield Running Company and the Candlelight Shoppe are proud to present "The Breast Event EVER" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  On Wednesday, October 29, both stores will offer custom bra fittings and will donate 10% of every bra purchase to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.  Pam Fitzpatrick, The Candlelight Shoppe's owner, known as "The Bra Lady", and has been fitting women for 50 years from her 407 Main Street location.  Ridgefield Running Company (88 Danbury Rd.) has a large selection of athletic bras to support a women's movement from yoga to running.

On October 29, from 10-6 PM, women can visit The Candlelight Shoppe for a custom fitting by Fitzpatrick and purchase bras for every day, then head to Ridgefield Running Company and find a bra that fits her athletic needs.  "Most women don't realize that athletic bras should not have an anniversary and should be replaced as often as running shoes", Megan Searfoss, co-owner of Ridgefield Running Company says.  "Keeping fit reduces the risk of breast cancer and it is important that a woman is comfortable and properly supported while she moves."  RRC will having Moving Comfort fit guru, Jessica Mueseler available for sports bra fittings and will be offering refreshments and gifts with purchase during The Breast Event EVER celebration.
