So many helping so many.. Rotary, Interact, RVNA - a multiple gift

Again this year the RHS Interact Club and the Ridgefield Rotary Club joined forces in a project to benefit the community through a food drive which was donated to the RVNA's food pantry.

"This is the 2nd year that these two clubs have joined forces to make a difference in the lives of people who need it. This was an incredible demonstration of how these two groups have and will make a valuable contribution to our clients and the community.  We can't thank them enough for the amount of food they have collected and donated, their time involved and most importantly their giving spirit. RVNA is so grateful to them for this outpouring of support of our clients who are in need.  This is about people helping people.  Multiplied many times, this turned out to be a gift of caring, cooperation, compassion and celebration." states Barbara Newland, Director of Community Health & Wellness for RVNA.

This project is headed up by Pat Cooney, a Rotarian, Ellen Fox, Interact teacher/adviser, and Ridgefield Rotary's Club President, Rich Vazzana.

RVNA will now sort, pack and distribute the food donations to their clients in need.
