nancy O stocks the shelves of Ridgefied's Food Pantry

nancy O, a fashion and knitting boutique on Catoonah Street in Ridgefield, held a food drive last weekend.  Throughout the weekend, customers were encouraged to bring in non-perishable food and household goods to help stock the Ridgefield Food Pantry.  "We re-filled our food collection box 4 times throughout the course of the weekend", said Nancy O'Connell, owner of the shop.  "We're grateful to all our generous customers who supported our effort to provide assistance to families who need help, right here in Ridgefield".

To complete the project, Nancy's grandson, Connor Riebling and his friend Ben Seward, both Scotts Ridge Middle School students, sorted through the goods and hand carried them to Town Hall, where they helped stock the Food Pantry shelves with Tony Phllips, Ridgefield's Director of Social Services.
