An Evening of Latin Dance & Entertainment Fundraiser for Ann’s Place and Kick-off to the Health Equity Initiative

Ann’s Place is excited to announce “An Evening of Latin Dance & Entertainment” which will be held on Saturday, March 14th.  Jay Bardalai and Laura Kent will provide beginner lessons as well as performances in Merengue, Salsa, and Argentine Tango.  The event will be held 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Ann’s Place, 80 Saw Mill Road, Danbury.  $20 per person includes dinner, dancing, performances, lessons, and refreshments.  Visit www.annsplace.org to purchase your tickets today!

This dance is a kick-off to the Health Equity Initiative program, which is a collaboration between Ann’s Place and the Hispanic Center of Danbury (CENTRO).  Ann’s Place mission is to promote health and wellness to all and we are eager to begin working through CENTRO’s office in offering our cancer support services to the increasing numbers of people who need them, including non-English speaking communities.

Ann’s Place provides compassion and professional counseling, support groups, peer mentors and wellness programs for people whose lives have been touched by cancer.  We inspire them to create solutions which will strengthen and sustain them.  Since 1991, all services have been offered free of charge.  The agency hosts an open house the first Thursday of every month from 2 to 3:30 pm.  For more information, visit www.annsplace.org or call 203-790-6568.
