ROAR celebrates 15 years at ROAR with Laughter

ROAR supporters and fans gathered at BMW of Ridgefield on Saturday, February 28 for ROAR with Laughter 2015. This is the Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue's annual premier gala and one of their largest fundraiser. 2015 marks ROAR's 15 year Anniversary and the 10th Anniversary of the Donofrio Family Animal Shelter in Ridgefield.

ROAR supporter and former Ridgefielder, William Adler was awarded the 2015 ROAR Community Star Award for service to ROAR and the community, and Amy Kule of Macy's won the 2015 ROAR Business Community Award. ROAR founder, Marcia Libby was onhand to celebrate the mission and growth of ROAR.

“ROAR supporters packed BMW of Ridgefield showroom and raised tens of thousands of dollars to help ROAR continue its mission of rescuing dogs and cats and placing them in loving area homes,” explained Adler.

Along with yummy nibbles from Collier Catering, and an open bar and silent and live auction items, Ross Bennett, a stand-up comedian, and the J and B Jazz Trio added pizzazz to the celebratory evening.
