Fairfield County's Giving Day is Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Fairfield County’s Giving Day, a one-day event to support your favorite local organizations and non-profits. Many of HamletHub's favorites in Ridgefield are participating.  To see if your favorite is participating or to donate, please click here and enter the organization's name in the search box.

This event, powered by Fairfield County's Community Foundation, begins on Thursday, March 5 and goes from midnight to 11:59 p.m. During this time you can support your favorite local nonprofit, a cause you’re passionate about, or a program located in your town or city. And you can help them win grant prizes throughout the day, just by making a donation of $10 or higher. Check out our Leaderboard, look through this site and come back on March 5 to experience the thrill and excitement of Giving Day!

The Ridgefield Library is a community partner and there will be a giving station in the Bossidy Commons from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There are also two Giving Day events in Ridgefield:

At 10:50 a.m. at JoyRide Cycling Studio (62 Danbury Road, Ridgefield) - Join Cindy for a ride to support The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. Minimum donation of $40 - one lucky rider will win a good basket filled with Adam Broderick products valued at $300!

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ridgefield Library (472 Main Street, Ridgefield) - Get a taste of 3-D Design and Printing in the Donofrio Technology Center. All funds raised on Giving Day will go to converting the library into a laboratory for creativity and for technology instruction and innovation.

The Fairfield County's Community Foundation promotes philanthropy as a means to create change in Fairfield County, focusing on innovative and collaborative solutions to critical issues impacting the community.
