History of Behind the Scenes award:

The Behind the Scenes Honors began as an offshoot of recognizing the extraordinary contributions of Joseph P. Dailey, a once active member of the Arts Council and President of the Ridgefield Symphony. Because of Mr. Dailey’s contributions to the arts community, and recognizing that there are so many other “behind the scenes” volunteers who support the arts in Ridgefield, the Arts Council saw it only fitting to annually recognize individuals for their efforts in promoting and fostering the many cultural organizations that benefit Ridgefield and the community at large.
