Amber Room Run From the Sun 5K to Benefit Ann’s Place is Tomorrow!

 

The 7^th Annual Amber Room Run From the Sun 5K, presented by The Amber Room Colonnade, takes place on Thursday, August 13^th and again benefits Ann’s Place. Register HERE. 

Over 400 runners and walkers are expected to participate in this year’s event. The race starts at 6:30 p.m. at The Amber Room Colonnade on Stacey Rd. in Danbury. The certified 5K course (3.1 miles) runs from The Amber Room to Candlewood Lake and back. The course passes scenic water views, stately homes and old lake communities. After the race, all participants are invited to a post-race party featuring an outdoor barbeque, cold drinks, and music.

JB Sports, Coordinator of the Faxon Law Danbury Half Marathon and Faxon Law New Haven Road Race, coordinates this event with The Amber Room staff. Awards given to the fastest runners in numerous age groups.
