Ridgefield’s beloved Have a Heart event to benefit Kids in Crisis returns in a new form, featuring a food truck festival and live music in a casual, fun atmosphere. The inaugural “Have a Heart Shakes It Up” evening promises “no auction, no fuss, no muss.” The event will take place at the Double H Farm (11 Stagecoach Road in Ridgefield) on Saturday, September 19, from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Event co-chairs Libby Julo and Christine Wohl encourage guests to dress down and enjoy the casual vibe!
Attendees will enjoy fare from a variety of popular food trucks including Bodega Taco Truck, Ricky D’s Rib Shack, and Skinny Pines Pizza, sip on beer sponsored by Half Full Brewery, and enjoy dessert from Nature’s Temptations. The night will feature beer, wine, and a signature cocktail starting at 6:00 p.m., food trucks at 7:00 p.m., and dessert at 9:00 p.m. Throughout the night, popular jam band The Ritzy Chickens will perform live for all to enjoy.
