Ridgefield Girl Scouts Make 180 Lunches for Dorothy Day in Danbury

Barlow Mountain Elementary School's Junior Girl Scout Troop 50664 spent time on Thursday morning (September 3)  making lunches for the Dorothy Day House in Danbury, CT. The troop of nine 4th graders, along with younger siblings and mothers, made 180 bag lunches that were delivered later in the day to feed a person who might have gone hungry otherwise.

The various clubs and troops that meet at Barlow Mountain make sandwiches for Dorothy Day House every month, helping out their neighbors in need and learning to give back.
