Ridgefield A Better Chance Guest Bartending Night at Gallo Ristorante Thursday, October 15

Guest Bartender Night at Gallo supports Ridgefield A Better Chance (RABC) Program on October 15.

Former Boys & Girls Club Director Terry Hughes, along with RABC Board members Kelby Edwards, Sue Ferguson and Jeanne Manto (pictured with owner Raffaele Gallo) will take turns behind the bar during a Guest Bartender Night at Gallo Ristorante in Ridgefield from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 15. The 501 © (3) not-for-profit RABC will benefit from all bar tips and Gallo will donate 10% of liquor sales that night and any food bill in the Dining Room or Patio if you mention RABC. The restaurant is located at 5 Grove Street.

Everyone is welcome to this fundraiser, which will support RABC’s mission of providing talented and highly-motivated women of color an opportunity to receive an outstanding high school education in preparation for college. Since 1987, forty-seven ABC scholars have graduated from Ridgefield High School and have received their undergraduate and graduate degrees, changing the course of their lives, the lives of their families and the many Ridgefield volunteers who are involved with the scholars and the program. Whether through the scholar’s school and community philanthropic efforts or through the different perspectives they bring to the table, they enrich the lives of their fellow students and those involved in the program as much as Ridgefielders do theirs.
