On Saturday, May 21, the Immaculate Chapter of She’s the First is partnering with the Immaculate Track Team and Volleyball Team to host the First Annual Rebecca Draper Townsend 5K Fun Walk/Run.
Rebecca Draper Townsend, Immaculate graduate from the Class of 2015, passed away in a tragic accident on July 2, 2015. She was the founder of the Immaculate High School She’s The First Chapter, one of the first high school chapters in the country. Rebecca donated many hours to spread the word about She’s The First and raise funds to make a significant difference in the lives of so many young women.
All proceeds will be donated to She’s the First, an organization that provides scholarships to girls in low-income developing countries to help transform their lives through education . Only one in every five girls in the developing world finishes primary school and only one in three attends secondary school. For $400, Imnmaculate’s She’s The First Chapter can send a young girl to school for a year!

- Sponsorships include registration fee for one and inclusion of sponsoring organization's name on the event T-shirt
The registration fee is $25 per person or $65 for a family of five.
