Ridgefield Chamber Executive Director Goes Purple to Support Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month

As I drove down Grove Street on my way to work last week someone caught me by surprise - someone very, very purple was walking into 13 Grove Street.

Jennifer Zinzi, the Executive Director of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce has gone purple (well, her hair has gone purple) to pledge her support for Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month.

"I committed to dying my hair purple in June to support Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month.  This is a cause near and dear to my heart due to the personal impact its had on close family members," says Zinzi.

Zinzi further explains, "This month is particularly important because it is designed to bring awareness to employers specifically.  Caring for a loved one who has this disease can be overwhelming and exhausting and the Alzheimer's Association wants you to know there are support resources available."
