Habitat for Humanity is celebrating 25 years - thanks to those who have shaped their history!

Housatonic Habitat of Humanity is celebrating 25 years of building homes for people. In honor of this special anniversary, Habitat is sharing a series of profiles on the people and events that have shaped thier 25-year history.

Pictured in this photo is at the Hospital Avenue dedication two years ago are Homeowner Nicole, Steve and Liz Goldstone and Nicole's daughter, Ajianamat. The Bayberry homes were followed by 5 condos on Hospital Avenue which The Goldstone Foundation sponsored.

"Steve and Liz Goldstone were the generous sponsors of a three house enclave on Bayberry Lane in Danbury.  The homes have different, complementary exteriors and they are identical inside.  The Goldstones were active participants in the interior designs and they engaged with the future homeowners often.  The homes were open for tours and for wonderful food and refreshments.  The dedication was in the cul-de-sac where the homes are built. It was on a lovely winter afternoon and it was attended by a very sizable crowd," expained longtime supporter, Joanne Patrick.
