Ridgefielder fights for a cure for childhood cancer with a fundraiser at 850

850 Degrees will host a fundraiser to raise funds to find a cure for pediatic cancer on Monday, March 13 from 5 to 10.

Larry Debany, owner of 850, will donate 10% of evenings proceeds (both eat-in and takeout order) to St. Baldrick's Foundation, a volunteer-powered charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers.

The event is spearheaded by Ridgefielder, Vivian Altopp who says, "Volunteers and fundraiser organizers like me also volunteer to shave our heads as an act of support and solidarity to children who have lost their hair to cancer."

You can support Ridgefielder Vivian Altropp and support St. Baldrick's Foundation here.

850 is located at 424 R Main Street in Ridgefield.
