The Ridgefield High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team is hosting Weston High School on Saturday, April 22, at 10 am at Tiger Hollow. Like last year’s event, the girls will be playing for autism awareness and raising money to support Cornerstone Home & Gardens, a 401(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder with jobs and training in the field of horticulture, building and grounds maintenance, and landscape design. This is a cause and a foundation close to our team’s heart. The teams and booster club want to support the foundation that Coach Berger works so hard and thanklessly to build. The JV and FR teams will be running a raffle and bake sale to raise money for Cornerstone. We’d love to get a great turnout with lots of black and orange in the stands. It’ll be a great game with a greater purpose.
