Chekhov Theater Festival Spring Fundraiser this Friday in Ridgefield

 Broadway Star Katie Diamond to Perform at Chekhov Theater Festival Fundraiser

 

Broadway star and singer, Katie Diamond will present an evening of classic Broadway songs at the annual fundraiser for the Chekhov International Theatre Festival of Ridgefield.

 

Katie is a resident of Ridgefield and a founder of ACT of Connecticut, a new contemporary theater company here in Ridgefield.  She has been professionally singing and acting since she was the age of 12.   Her Broadway credits include the role of Lorraine in “Jersey Boys”.  

 

The evening will begin with hors d’ oeuvres, beverages and a silent auction. Then Katie Diamond will sing Broadway classics joined by other singers. The evening will end with desserts.  

 

The Chekhov International Theatre Festival, which celebrates Michael Chekhov’s acting methods and his connection to Ridgefield, bring to the Ridgefield community innovative avant guard professional theater. The Festival is a non-profit through the Friends of Ridgefield Community Programs, Inc.

 

The Event is on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at a private home in Ridgefield.  The cost for the evening is $50 per person.
