Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance Holds First Annual Gala on April 29

"G is for Gala"

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance will hold their first Gala on Saturday, April 29 beginning at 7:30 pm in Ridgefield Academy's Hope Hall (223 West Mountain Road).

As the only 501(c)(3) non-profit Dance school in northern Fairfield County, Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance is striving to expand their community outreach and educational programs for students.  The funds raised through the first annual Gala will go towards furthering these endeavors. "We need your help to continue providing strong programs with an exceptional faculty, in our beautiful facility, and to further our community outreach efforts," Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance explains.

Under the roof of beautiful Ridgefield Academy, attendees will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and food stations, wine, beer, and bubbly while being entertained by talented Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance faculty and students.

A special performance "Spirit of the Incense” by Ruth St. Denis (1906), staged by Stephanie Clemens will be performed under special license by Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance Artistic Director, Amy Piantaggini.

Additionally, members of the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance Civic Ballet will perform excerpts from "Giselle", and Mary Beth Hansohn will perform excerpts from the ballet, "Unnatural Selection".
