Norwalk Community College PepsiCo Theatre – Thrown Stone was honored today at the 2017 New Canaan Community Foundation Grant Awards with $500 in support of the U.S. Premiere of Milk, a new play by Ross Dunsmore, to be presented July 14-30 at the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance. Thrown Stone was one of 73 organizations — including 17 in Arts, Culture & Community Resources — to receive support.

ABOUT THROWN STONE THEATRE COMPANY
ABOUT MILK
Three couples struggle to meet their basic needs for food, love and survival. As they try to make sense of a changing world, their inner desires and appetites become driving forces that could lead to either catastrophe or redemption. Milk is an emotive and heartfelt play about what sustains us, what makes us sick, and what we just can’t get enough of.
Thrown Stone performed Milk — just weeks after its opening in Scotland — as a staged reading for the 2016 Chekhov International Theatre Festival, and was subsequently awarded the rights to present the U.S. premiere. Milk will be Thrown Stone’s first full production.
