Thank you cards for the US Military are being collected in the Children's section of Ridgefield Library until June 16.
The cards will be sent via A Million Thanks, a nonprofit organization that provides support and appreciation to our active and veteran military men and women through sending letters and granting betterment of life wishes, as well as providing higher education scholarships to their children.
Organizer Noelle Carr says, "Guidelines for letters: no food, no envelopes, no glitter or confetti, and...stay positive!"
"Please take some time to write a letter to the people who keep us safe and free and drop it in our collection box," adds Carr.
