Ridgefield resident Rachel Langberg founded The Silver Platter Foundation after watching her sister Hillary Silver battle Multiple Myeloma for nine years while caring for her two young children. Silver lost her courageous battle in July 2015.
On Thursday, November 16 from 6:00-9:00pm, you are invited to support The Silver Platter Foundation while enjoying cocktails at Gallo Restaurant in Ridgefield. 10% of the evening’s food and drink sales as well as all bar tips will benefit the nonprofit organization which provides goods and services to families affected by adult blood cancer with children living at home.
The Silver Platter Foundation supports families by providing them food, transportation, housekeeping, school supplies, clothing, or any other everyday needs during a difficult time.
